Weet-Bix Tryathlon
WALT: Take turns to share our mathematical thinking
Last week we tried to answer the problem 38x12 using a strategy where you had to breakup the biggest number by place value to get the answer like: 49x5
40x5 = 200
9x5 = 45
200+45 = 245
Games and Learning
This is a blogpost about games.
My favourite games (digital and non-digital) are:
* Rules Of Survival
*Creative Destruction
*Mainland Wars
*Ravenfield
*Dream League Soccer
The reason/s why I enjoy playing these games are:
* It is a thrilling experience when your 1v1 with another player
*The colorful graphics and nice gameplay make it a really good battle royale
*The combination of maths and strategy and increasing difficulty as you progress is good for a game that is not that known.
*A blocky shooter with the best game features makes it one my favorite FPS’s
*My fascination with soccer and games makes this a game that matches me
Learning could be made much more fun and interesting if it included these elements of a game:
*Leaderboards give a competition between students
*Experience points show students how good or bad they are making them do better
*Good features makes excellent gameplay
*Simple graphics is a concept that can make students more focused because they don’t have to look much
*Special item and in game currency are a god way to make it more interesting

The last two weeks I and the whole of Team five needed to make a Visual Mihi a visual mihi is technically just a picture about yourself.
On the top is a bible because I am a christian.
On the left are sports equipment because I like sports.
On the right are music notes and a guitar because I like music and playing instruments.
And on the bottom is a combination of The Philippine and New Zealand flag
